Grant is a co-founder and Partner of Maritana Partners, and an experienced advisor to Boards and CEOs. He began his career in the building construction and building technology sectors, before spending 12 years in telecommunications, building and servicing carrier-grade networks across Europe, Asia, Africa and South America.
He has lived in the US, the UK and New Zealand, and is now based in Melbourne. Grant has also led a number of start-up and early-stage businesses, including taking them to IPO on Nasdaq and the London Stock Exchange.
In 2008, he joined the global search profession conducting search and assessment assignments for the most senior levels of business in Australia and New Zealand in the industrial, manufacturing and services sectors.
Grant has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons.) and a Graduate Diploma of Engineering (Risk) from Swinburne University and an MBA from the University of Sydney Business School.

Elin Hurvenes is a consultant covering clients globally, with a particular focus on the Nordic.
A consultant with CMi since 2012, Elin looks after CMi clients across the globe and has managed multiple CEO succession engagements in different geographies including the UK, Germany, Italy and the US.
Matthew Westerman is the Chairman of CMi and a Director of MW&L Capital Partners, a private-investment vehicle with investments in a number of businesses.
Jane is a co-founder and Partner of Maritana Partners and is recognised as an experienced advisor to Australia’s largest Boards. Prior to this, she worked with a global-search firm for over 15 years, where she was Managing Partner locally and held a leadership role in Asia for many years. During the course of her career Jane has advised on over 100 CEO appointments.
Marga has been CEO of several companies in the construction sector and stood out due to her visionary leadership. She was asked to set up and lead the Dutch Sustainable Business Association in 2010 and was its CEO until 2016, where she proved as a business leader that sustainability can synergise with strong returns and a competitive position.
