William (Bill) Green is the former CEO and Chairman of Accenture. He is currently the Chairman of Syniti, and Chairman for GTY Technology Holdings Inc. He is also a member of the Board of Directors at Dell Technologies, S&P Global, Inovalon (a provider of data analytics, intervention and reporting platforms to the healthcare industry) and Advisor360° (a provider of a unified, integrated software suite for wealth management).
Bill was a Director of Accenture from 2001 until 2013, and assumed the role of Chairman in 2006. During his tenure at Accenture, the company completed its initial public offering and Bill was involved in the planning of it's long-term business strategy. From 2004 to 2010, Bill served as Accenture’s CEO.
During his tenure as CEO, Accenture grew revenue from $13.7bn to $21.6bn, doubled its workforce to 211,000 employees and expanded its global footprint. Prior to serving as CEO, Bill was Accenture’s COO of client services with overall management responsibility for the company’s operating groups.
Bill was ranked No. #1 Chief Executive Officer in the Computer Sciences & IT Consulting sector by Institutional Investor in 2007.
