Rona Fairhead (The Baroness Fairhead) is currently a Non-Executive Director and Member of the Finance and Audit Committee of Oracle Corp., a Director of SurvivorNet (healthcare start-up), a member of the External Advisory Group, McKinsey & Co., and a Member of the House of Lords.
Baroness Fairhead was previously the Chairman and CEO of the Financial Times Group and also led Pearson professional education; she had previously been CFO at Pearson plc. Prior to Pearson, Baroness Fairhead held Senior-Executive roles in ICI plc and Bombardier Inc., primarily with Shorts in the UK. Her early career began in the 1980s with Bain & Co.
She was the first female Chairman of the British Broadcasting Company (BBC), and after stepping down from the BBC was invited by the UK Prime Minister to become the UK Government’s Trade and Export Minister, a role she held until 2019.
Her Non-Executive Director roles have included HSBC Holdings plc, where she chaired the Risk and Audit Committees, the UK Government’s Cabinet Office, where she chaired the Cabinet Office Audit and Risk Committees, and PepsiCo Inc. Baroness Fairhead has held Non-Executive Chairman roles with FTSE companies Interactive Data Corp., the Financial Times Group, HSBC Bank North America and the BBC.
Dr Svein Richard Brandtzæg recently stepped down as CEO of the global aluminium company Norsk Hydro ASA and is currently Vice Chairman of DNB ASA, Chairman of Veidekke ASA, an Independent Director at Swiss Steel Holdings AG and a Non-Executive Director of SCR-Sibelco N.V., Belgium. Brandtzæg is also Chair of a Norwegian Government Committee for Business development.
Jack So Chak-kwong is Chairman of the Airport Authority Hong Kong, a position he assumed on 1 June 2015. He is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of AIA Group Limited and China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited, a Senior Advisor to Credit Suisse, Greater China and an Advisor at the Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited.
