David Tyler is currently Chairman of The White Company and Domestic & General Group.
Executive experience from positions in consumer, retail, business services and financial services at, amongst others, Unilever, GUS plc (the owner of Experian, Burberry and Home Retail Group prior to their demerger), NatWest Group plc and Christie’s International plc.
David learned his “trade” at Unilever for 11 years, after which he joined NatWest Investment Bank where he was Director of Finance. Following this, he was Group Finance Director at Christie’s International and the Chief Executive of its American business.
Thereafter, he was Group Finance Director of GUS plc where he took financial and strategic responsibility for the Group through its major transformation over these years.
David has extensive experience of chairmanship at a number of the UK’s largest and most established public companies, including Hammerson plc. Before taking on his current responsibilities, he was Chairman of J Sainsbury plc, Logica plc and of 3i Quoted Private Equity plc, and a Non-Executive Director of Experian plc, Burberry Group plc and of Reckitt Benckiser Group plc.
Dr Franz Humer was previously Chairman of Roche Holding AG and is currently an Independent Director of Allogene Therapeutics, Chairman of PCI Services Inc, Advisory Board member of LetterOne Holdings, Senior Advisor to Target PharmaSolutions (a data solutions company for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries), and Healthcare Advisor to Temasek Holdings (Singapore)and Advisor to a number of start-up companies.
