Gunnar Brock

Gunnar Brock has spent most of his executive career with Tetra Pak, living in six countries on three continents.

During the period 1974-1992 he held various positions, including Country Head and Executive Vice-President of the Tetra Pak Group. In 1992 he became President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.

From 1994 to 2000 he was President and CEO of the Tetra Pak Group, between 2001 and 2002, President and CEO of Thule International and subsequently, from 2002 to 2009, President and CEO of the Atlas Copco Group.

Board Mandates

Gunnar Brock is Chairman of Mölnlycke Health Care AB Stena AB and recently stepped down as Chairman of Stora Enso Oyjj.

He is also a Non-Executive Director of Syngenta AG and a board member of Investor AB, Patricia AB and Stockholm School of Economics.

Mr Brock is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, IVA and Senior Advisor to EQT.

He was previously a board member of Lego AS, Denmark (13 years), of Alfa Laval AB, Perstorp AB, Pergo AB, Atlas Copco AB, OMX AB and Total SA and was an Advisor to Credit Suisse. He has also been Chairman of rolling Optics AB.


Mr Brock was awarded the King’s Medal of the Twelfth Dimension with the Ribbon of the Order of the Seraphims for excellent efforts in Swedish trade issues.
